The
26th annual Vestry Academy will be held on Saturday, February 2nd and will begin at 10:00 a.m. at St. Crispin’s Conference Center. This
event is open to all vestry members and treasurers. This conference will
focus primarily on the vestry member’s role as a leader in the
responsible stewardship of ministry, and secondarily on conducting the
business affairs of the church.
Again this year, we are adding a special event the evening before Vestry Academy for current Senior and Junior Wardens only to spend time with the Bishop. We will begin at 5:00 p.m. with social hour, followed by dinner. Overnight accommodations will only be provided for the current Senior and Junior Wardens.
All
congregations that receive financial assistance from the Diocese are
required to send members of the Bishop’s Committee as a condition of
their assistance.
It
is very important that we have completed registration by January 18th.
The $22 per participant registration fee includes the Vestry Resource
Guide, additional material to be distributed during the conference, and
lunch at St. Crispin’s. If you have any food allergies, please be sure
to list them when completing online registration.
