Dear
Clergy and Wardens:
The 27th annual Vestry Academy will be held
the weekend of March 6th-7th, 2020 at St. Crispin’s
Conference Center Camp. This conference will focus primarily on the vestry
member’s role as a leader in their congregation.
There are two
parts to this exciting weekend:
Friday
Evening all current Senior and Junior Wardens are
invited to spend time with the Bishop.
We will begin at 5:00 p.m. with social hour, followed
by dinner. Overnight accommodations will only be provided for the
current Senior and Junior Wardens and is complementary. Housing is limited;
therefore wardens who would like overnight accommodations must RSVP by
February 14th.
Any housing requests received after that date will not
accommodated.
Saturday
morning from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. all vestry members and clergy are
encouraged to attend. The diocesan staff will also be on hand to answer
questions and consult on any programing needs.
All
congregations that receive financial assistance from the Diocese are required
to send members of the Bishop’s Committee as well as their Clergy as a
condition of their assistance.
Registration is $25 per attendee and registration
closes February 21st for the Saturday event. Registration includes
the Vestry Resource Guide, additional material to be distributed during
the conference, and lunch at St. Crispin’s.
