Congregation Website Project

We are launching a new congregation website project!

The diocese is providing congregations the opportunity to obtain a new, professionally-designed, rich, and vibrant website at a low cost! We are using the company that designed and maintains the new diocesan website, FaithNetwork, to offer our congregations a unique opportunity to create a new website with no start-up or design overhead costs. These websites are mobile-responsive and incorporate a unique and substantive design. 

Your congregation will work directly with the company on design, structure, features, and more to create your congregation's new website. The templates offered are simply a starting point. Each site is customizable to your congregation's logo, images, branding, colors, etc.; and the features shown can be rearranged or removed. In addition, in the $45 and $65 level websites, additional features (such as blogs, full events calendars, and more) can be added! 

As reflected in our diocesan Guidelines for Healthy Congregations, we expect that every congregation have a "...functioning, updated website or web landing page containing physical address, telephone number, worship times, when childcare is offered (including ages), clergy and staff listings, and Christian formation offerings." This project provides an opportunity for every congregation to ensure that they meet this Basic Requirement. The diocesan office will be in contact and will provide assistance to ensure that this objective is accomplished for every congregation.

Training and Support: 
Once the website is designed and launched, your congregation will be able to easily make edits, changes or adjustments to your site as needed. In addition, FaithNetwork will provide on-boarding training and ongoing support, as needed. 

Cost: 
No start-up or design costs! Congregations only pay the stated monthly cost:
     Free: Landing Page ONLY (a single page, not a full website)
     $45/month: Full Website, but NO media (no video, audio recordings, etc.) [choose from a Modern or Traditional template]
     $65/month: Full Website with media (video, audio recordings, etc.) [choose from a Modern or Traditional template]
