Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ:
We are very pleased to announce that, in consultation with the Bishop's Committee, I have appointed the Rev. Keith Fallis to serve as a bi-vocational priest at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Sapulpa, with his first Sunday on July 22nd.
Keith is a recent graduate of our IONA School of Formation, who was ordained to the priesthood in February. With the other priests with whom he graduated, Keith has continued to serve and be formed by his field education congregation, Christ Church, Tulsa, to prepare him for this next chapter of his ministry. The vocational deacons in his class were appointed a year ago, at the time of their ordinations.
Our IONA School of Formation continues to form deacons and bi-vocational priests for the work of the Gospel, and we are grateful for the commitment of the graduates who serve as faithful deacons and priests to partner with our congregations in building up the Body in Christ in Oklahoma.
Please join me in praying for Fr. Keith and the People and Bishop's Committee of Good Shepherd as they begin this new partnership in ministry. Together, may they transform lives in the love of Jesus Christ.
