By The Rev. Paul Snyder, Diocesan Disaster Recovery Coordinator

Assistive Technology and Durable Medical Equipment is a state mandated origination that repairs and distributed medical equipment.

If you have medical equipment (such as walkers, wheel chairs, hospital beds etc.) that you no longer need, this origination (AT/DME) will take the equipment. They clean up, repair the equipment, and send out to those in need.

If you know someone who needs some medical equipment and cannot afford it, AT/DME will give equipment without any charge. They will normally ship it to the person in need. They do not inquire about insurance. They may need a copy of a letter from the Doctor showing what equipment is needed.

If you have medical equipment that you no longer need or if you know someone that has a need for medical equipment, you can contact Oklahoma Durable Medical equipment Resuse program at (405) 523-4810 or 800-257-1705.
