Please keep all
of Bishop Jacob's family and the Anglican Diocese of Tamale in your
prayers.
Dear Friends,
It is with great sadness
that I share with you the news that the Rt. Rev. Jacob Kofi Ayeebo, the Bishop
of the Anglican Diocese of Tamale, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning.
Bishop Jacob, as he is
known, and I worked closely together on building the church in Bolgatanga,
Ghana that was made possible through the generous support of our diocese. He
had a lasting partnership with Episcopal Relief & Development, and collaborated
on projects addressing the areas of disease and poverty in Ghana's Upper East
Region. His warmth and friendship will be remembered by all who knew him.
Please keep all
of Bishop Jacob's family and the Anglican Diocese of Tamale in your
prayers:
O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered:
Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant Jacob and
grant him an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the
fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who
lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God,
now and forever. Amen.
Faithfully,
+Bishop Ed
