Join women from across the Diocese for the annual Women's Retreat at St. Crispin's Conference Center from October 28-30. We are so excited to welcome Rev. Dr. Lisa Wolfe to St. Crispin’s. Her works include Bible study DVDs “Uppity Women of the Bible,” books Ruth, Esther, Song of Songs and Judith, and Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes) in the Wisdom Commentary Series. This retreat will be two days, with registration beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, October 28th with dinner at 6 p.m. through our last meal at noon on Sunday, October 30th. In addition to our more structured time of learning and worship, there will be opportunities for solitude, perusing offerings from Cathedral Books and Gifts, and just free time to enjoy St. Crispin’s and each other.
Walking the labyrinth, hiking, bird watching, kayaking (bring an old towel and short pants) and Frisbee golf will be available. Be sure to bring pen, paper, journals, or other writing materials. You may also wish to bring your favorite prayer books, reading material, yoga mat, walking stick, binoculars needlework, cards, games, puzzles, a favorite DVD to share, wine or other beverages and snacks.
