We are excited to be hosting our first child friendly Women’s Retreat in Powell Lodge at St. Crispin's Conference Center + Camp, led by three inspirational women. We will have presentations for adult women, different age groups of children, as well as some intergenerational activities with ideas to bring back to our own parishes. We hope you can join us for the whole two days, with check in beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, February 24th and dinner at 6 p.m., continuing through lunch on Sunday, February 26th, but we welcome you when you can come.
We are offering different accommodations and pricing options as well as scholarships so everyone who wants to come may participate. In addition to our more structured time of learning and worship, there will be opportunities for solitude, perusing offerings from Cathedral Books and Gifts, and just free time to enjoy St. Crispin’s and each other. Walking the labyrinth, hiking, bird watching, Frisbee golf, and a Saturday hayride are available.
Be sure to bring pens and paper, journals, or other writing materials. You may also wish to bring your favorite prayer books, reading material, yoga mat, walking stick, binoculars, needlework, cards, games, puzzles, a favorite DVD to share, wine or other beverages, and snacks. Bring casual comfortable clothing (layers always good) and shoes. Be ready for rain, mud, snow, sunshine, cold rooms, warm rooms.
