Bishop Poulson is pleased to announce that the Rev. Lance Schmitz will be Priest in-charge at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Oklahoma City.
Bishop Poulson commented on the appointment, “I am delighted to appoint Lance to this position at Redeemer, which is an historic and important congregation in our diocese. Lance brings a love for people, and a commitment to bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ into the neighborhood.”
Lance A Schmitz is fourth generation Oklahoman and has been married for 20 years to Ashley, a family nurse practitioner. They are the proud parents of two intelligent and beautiful children, Lola (5) and Arlo (9) . Lance was a former Nazarene pastor, and comes to the Episcopal Church from a rich and varied faith background with over twenty years of experience in the church world.
