The gospel readings from John during Lent this year are very long! Saint Simeon’s residents usually hear the gospel read by Chaplain Susanne Methven. But it might be hard to pay attention to these much longer gospel readings. Nine lay readers at Saint John’s in Tulsa gathered one afternoon to record each gospel in parts.
The audio files are produced into a video and played at all three Sunday services at Saint Simeon’s. The video is also posted on Saint Simeon’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/saintsimeons) for others to enjoy. A big thank you to Saint John’s who partnered with us to enhance our worship services!
