Diocesan Position Transition

Diocesan Position Transition

A message from Bishop Poulson on a Diocesan Position Transition.

Dear Friends,

I am writing to let you know that our friend and colleague in ministry, the Reverend Paul Snyder, will be concluding his role as Diocesan Disaster Recovery Coordinator at the end of December. Although Paul is now past our retirement age for clergy, I am delighted that he will continue for at least another year as Deacon at Saint Christopher’s, Midwest City, where he is supporting the ministry of their new Rector, the Reverend Dale Plummer. Paul is our beloved friend, and we are grateful for his years of service on our staff.  Canon Eric commented, “Deacon Paul joined the staff four and half years ago, and although I have only worked with him for a little over a year, it has been a pleasure to serve alongside Deacon Paul, especially in his ministry serving the diocese in times of natural disaster.”

After December 31, questions about disaster preparedness in congregations can go to Canon Eric. In the event of a disaster, our diocesan response will be coordinated by Canon Eric, in consultation with our community partners.

The Rt. Rev. Poulson Reed, Bishop
