Find support for study, reflection, and community through an Education for Ministry (EFM) group.

Meet with a group of adults, facilitated by a trained and certified mentor. Study the development of scripture, the movement of church history, and theological viewpoints; grow in personal spirituality and theology; reflect on personal experience and living faithfully.

Many groups meet in person and many others meet entirely online. The EFM website provides a list of online opportunities, with day of the week and time of day for the weekly sessions.  Online groups include adults from across the country in the same group.  Groups are small, 8-12 members, and meet weekly over a nine-month period. The full program is four years, registering one year at a time.

If you’re looking for an Oklahoma in-person group, contact Kate Bond at the Oklahoma diocese, KBond@epiok.org, for information on Oklahoma mentors.

Rick Brewer, Angela Hock-Brewer and Rinda Skaggs in our diocese can be contacted about EFM mentoring at angela_hock@msn.com or rick_brewer@msn.com or rinda.skaggs@gmail.com
