The Transitions Committee will be meeting in retreat on July 13, 2019 for an orientation to the various
activities involving the election, consecration, and transition of the new bishop, and the retirement of
Bishop Ed. Members of the Transitions Committee will be assigned to head up various activities, and
will be recruiting others to help with each of these tasks. We hope that you will prayerfully consider
helping, if asked.

Please continue keep our Search Committee, Transitions Committee, Standing Committee, Bishop Ed
and Debbie, our diocesan staff, and our entire Diocese in your prayers during this time of discernment
and transition.

Almighty God, giver of every good gift: Look graciously on your Church, and so guide the minds of those
who shall choose a bishop coadjutor for this Diocese and Church, and of those who offer themselves as
candidates, that we may receive a faithful pastor who will care for your people and equip us for our
ministries; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
