The Diocese of Oklahoma seeks a Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries to support the development of Episcopal youth (ages 12-17) and young adults (ages 18-35) in Oklahoma.
The Director will coordinate diocesan youth and young adult programs and events; work to train, equip, and develop youth and young adult leaders in congregations; lead diocesan-wide and regional events for youth and young adults; and help leaders across the diocese coordinate and collaborate across their ministries.
The person should have significant congregational or diocesan youth and young adult experience, familiarity with current approaches to youth and young adult ministries, strong communication and leadership skills, and a demonstrated ability to work collegially with clergy and lay people. Strong Christian faith is a requirement; Episcopal background preferred.
