Bishop Poulson is pleased to announce that Susanna LeMasters will be the new Director of Communications. She takes the place of Sarah Smith who is transitioning into seminary at Seminary of the Southwest this August to finish her requirements for ordination.

LeMasters is no stranger to the Diocese as she grew up at St. Paul’s Cathedral, attended camp at St. Crispin’s since 3rd grade and worked at St. Crispin’s as a camp counselor. She recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Journalism from Oklahoma State University. She brings expertise in video editing, producing, writing, curating and creating media content to tell compelling stories.

“I am so excited for this new opportunity to grow and learn. This diocese is a place of love and I can’t wait to share that with the world in a digital way,” LeMasters said.

Bishop Poulson shares his thoughts, “Susanna brings to this important role expertise, especially in the digital aspects of communication, combined with deep, firsthand understanding of the Diocese of Oklahoma. She is ideally suited to developing our diocesan and congregational communications to help us share the good news of Jesus with current and future generations. I also want to add my immense gratitude to our beloved Sarah Smith, who has laid the foundation for a modern communications strategy in our diocese. We wish her every blessing for her seminary studies and can’t wait to have her back in Oklahoma.”

LeMaster’s first day at the Diocese will be June 15th where she will onboard with Sarah Smith until her last day on July 31st.
