The Diocese of Oklahoma has received an abundance of funds for camp scholarships in Georgia Gates' name. As a result we are thrilled to announce the creation of the Georgia Lynn Gates Scholarship Endowment. All we need is $5,000 more to complete the fund. Consider giving today!
In response to our Beloved Georgia Gates' death we have received an overwhelming amount of contributions In Her Memory . To date, we have received just under $10,000, and in response, the Diocese has committed to matching that amount.
(Georgia was the Happening Director, St. Crispin's Camp Director, youth leader for Junior High and Senior High Conferences, and active member of St. Luke's in Tulsa. And, following her marriage to the Rev. Bob Gates, a member at St. Luke’s, Bartlesville.)
The Diocese is seeking an additional $5,000 to create a permanent scholarship endowment in Georgia’s name. The endowment would ensure that campers would receive an annual Georgia Lynn Gates Scholarship every year in perpetuity.
