St. Patrick’s Youth Christmas Meal Outreach

Saint Patrick’s Youth (SPY) planned a Christmas Meal Outreach for visitors to our parish Blessing Box.  A sign-up sheet was posted in the Blessing Box and visitors signed up to receive a Christmas meal containing a Spiral-Cut Ham, potatoes, corn, green bean casserole items, cranberry sauce, pickles, rolls, and a pre-made pie.  Parishioners volunteered to purchase the items that SPY would later package and distribute. Twenty one families signed up to receive a Christmas meal.  SPY gathered and packaged the meals together, the Wednesday before Christmas, and met our visitors with holiday cookies, hot cocoa, and delivered their meal packages to their cars.  Thanks to SPY and the community of St. Patrick’s, twenty one families were able to enjoy a Christmas meal together.  A beautiful opportunity to give from our God given abundance to celebrate the coming of the Christ child.  Great job Saint Patrick’s Youth and thank you to all of the parishioners who provided food items for this event.
