Circle of Care Christmas Party

Circle of Care Christmas Party

Circle of Care, a United Methodist Foster Care Program, opened their office in Woodward around the end of 2016, with the goal of providing great foster homes for children in the Woodward area.

By December of 2017, Circle of Care was serving 27 foster and biological children and 16 foster parents in Woodward and surrounding communities.

In an effort to support and celebrate these loving families, on December 16th, Deepwater Chemicals (a.k.a. the "Iodine Capital of the World", an iodine derivatives manufacturer to domestic and foreign customers), Faith United Methodist Church, and St. John's Episcopal Church came together to give a Christmas Party for all these foster families.

Deepwater Chemicals cooked and served the meal. Faith United Methodist provided presents. St. John's festively decorated their Parish Hall for the celebration and provided a Christmas craft for the children to make during the party.

The party was a huge success; there were a lot of smiles, giggles and laughter that day. Everyone involved came away with a renewed commitment to Circle of Care and its important work on behalf of foster children and foster parents. We hope to continue the partnership for years to come.
