by the Rev. Paul Snyder, Diocesan Disaster Recovery Coordinator
We have had some recent disasters in Oklahoma, such as the wildfires
in western Oklahoma in 2018. Both homes and property were destroyed, but our diocese joined with others and helped people in our state rebuild their lives. We have helped several families affected by tornadoes, floods, and fires.
These pictures are from a recent home dedication, where we helped a family by
sharing in rebuilding a new house for them. Their home was a total loss, and
they did not have insurance.
Our disaster relief fund can always use your support. If you're thinking of raising funds for a worthy cause during Lent, please consider donating to our Diocesan disaster relief
Thank you for your support!
