St. Michael's Norman, shared the love of Jesus Christ with their community by volunteering their time at Laundry Love.
Laundry Love is a national non-profit that seeks to wash the clothes and bedding of low/no income families and persons. They bring light to the lives of thousands of people across the U.S. they do this through love, dignity, and detergent by partnering with diverse groups and laundromats nationwide. Laundry Love depends on volunteers and kind hearts, like St. Michael's. This past summer St. Michael's went above and beyond to share love. The members of St. Michael's sponsored June and August Free Laundry Love Days for their Norman location. They also prepared and served sack lunches for the volunteers. Laundry love shared how grateful they were for St. Michael's by saying, "They have constantly supported our mission to love and serve our neighbors. They show up with enthusiasm and love in their hearts. They offer their support to us unconditionally; and for that we are so very grateful. On behalf of all of us at Laundry Love, thank you St. Michael's. Your "family" is such a blessing to our "family". You are the light of love."
