The recent Business & Financial Practices Conference was held April 14th at St. Crispin’s. It was an event full of practical advice, resources, and best practices for a variety of areas, including administrative, business, and financial management. The conference provided important information in an easily digestible format, specifically designed for congregation leaders, staff, and volunteers.
This year’s event provided relevant information on topics, including: accounting software, accounting practices, investments, caring for your building, evaluating risk, policies, employment practices, CPG and Church Insurance, building maintenance and repairs, reporting, and knowing what questions to ask.
In addition to the presentations, the participants were provided valuable resources, including a folder with numerous forms, a booklet of Helpful Hints and Useful Information, and a flash drive preloaded with information on everything from benefit and budgeting, to payroll and retirement, and much more!
