Two Opportunities Through the Order of the Ascension

OA Associates 

Bishop Poulson invites clergy or lay leaders interested in forming an Oklahoma chapter of OA Associates to reach out to him at bishoppoulson@epiok.org. Associates follow a simple Rule of Life based on prayer, learning, and service. The Oklahoma chapter will meet twice a year with the Bishop for day retreats that include prayer, lunch, and conversation on a book related to Benedictine spirituality, spiritual practices, or congregational development from the OA reading list. OA Associates also have opportunities for various zoom trainings and gatherings with the Order and other associates nationwide.

Shaping the Parish

Beginning October 9, Shaping the Parish is a 2 year zoom program open to clergy and lay leaders, taught by members of OA.

It focuses on ascetical theology (Christian practices), Benedictine spirituality, and congregational development. To find out more, see Shapingtheparish.com.
