Diocesan Staff Update
Teresa Phares, who previously served as the Children, Youth, and Summer Camp Director, will transition to a part-time role as Missioner for Safe Church, Safe Communities. Teresa’s strong administrative and pastoral skills make her uniquely qualified to continue supporting the Diocese in overseeing and implementing Safe Church policies and practices. Teresa will be working remotely from Sewanee, Tennessee, where she and her family relocated this summer. Her email (TPhares@epiok.org) remains the same.
Additionally, Jacquie Johnson will transition from her role as Ministry Partner Coordinator for Administration and Safe Church to become Executive Assistant to Canon Kate Bond, Canon for Congregational Vitality. Jacquie’s attention to detail, along with her executive and administrative skills, will serve her well in this new role. She will also continue her involvement in the event and on-site management of Ministry Partners' programming. Please continue to reach out to Jacquie for information regarding Vitality Grants, the Congregational Vitality Assessment, Lay Orders, and other training opportunities in the Diocese. Her email also remains the same (JJohnson@epiok.org).
We are grateful to Teresa and Jacquie for their faithful work, and we look forward to how their gifts will continue to strengthen and support our Diocese.
