New Interim Executive Director at St. Crispin’s

Dear friends,

We are excited to announce that St. Crispin’s Conference Center has hired a new Interim Executive Director, Richard Bombach. Richard will start on July 21st, training with outgoing Executive Director, Trueman Hoffimiester.

Bishop Poulson shared his thoughts on the new hire, “I am delighted to welcome Richard and his family to St. Crispin’s. Richard impressed everyone he encountered in the interview process with his enthusiasm, warmth, and gifts for leadership. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Richard has over 20 years of experience in the camp and conference world. He is just what we need as Interim Executive Director in this season of growth at St. Crispin’s.”

Originally from Beaver, Oklahoma and a graduate of Oklahoma State University, he has served as Retreat Director at Camp Olympia in Trinity, TX, Director of Camps at Mo-Ranch in Hunt, TX, and most recently, Executive Director at YMCA Camp Immokalee in Keystone Heights, FL. Throughout his career, Richard has focused on creating meaningful spaces for all, where people feel welcomed, supported, and deeply connected.

He was drawn to St. Crispin’s by the opportunity to be part of a place where people can connect with God, with one another, and with a place that truly feels like home.

As Interim Executive Director, Richard is excited to serve guests both new and familiar. He looks forward to getting to know the stories and passions of those who spend time at St. Crispin’s and to helping guide the mission forward with warmth, steadiness, and a deep respect for what makes this place feel like home. Richard and his wife Jessica, along with their daughters Amaya (11) and Annabelle (8), are excited to join the St. Crispin’s community and all it has to offer.
