Marriage Retreat
Love
God. Love one another as you love yourself.
These
are the 2 great Commandments, and one of the most significant expressions of
these commandments is through the Sacrament of Marriage.
However,
happy, healthy, life-giving relationships, do not happen by accident, they are
formed through constant work and commitment. In 2019, the Diocese of Oklahoma
is excited to offer a retreat that supports that work and commitment.
This
two day, one night event is an opportunity for couples to come together with
licensed counselors and other couples of all ages and from all walks of life,
and spend some intentional time focusing on the foundations of their marriage. This
retreat will touch on topics such as communication, how to fight fairly, and
how to resolve conflicts, as well as their spiritual foundations.
The
2019 Marriage Retreat is open to all couples who have been married for longer
than a year and is part of the Diocese of Oklahoma's commitment to the complete
arc of Christian Formation.
