The Committee has begun the process of discerning candidates to put forth on the slate for Bishop Coadjutor. Following the close of the nominating period on July 6th, The Search and Nominating Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma reviewed the applications of all of the candidates which included answers to five essay questions and contacted the references which they each were asked to provide.

several severe weather events but are expecting more events to occur. There have been several tornado outbreaks the last few weeks. The Oklahoma Episcopal Diocese is a member of Oklahoma VOAD
(Volunteer Organization Active During Disaster). We sit on the committee of
Spiritual Care and on the Long Term Recovery Committee.
Grace Church is seeking a part time student minister to help in the formation and growth of our students and our program.As an option, we can pair with this job an additional responsibility of coordinating our Sunday Ministry Teams, which is only a few hours a week (but will assist youth minister in getting to know the congregation and finding ways for students to serve and be included in the life of the church).

as our keynote. The
Rev. Canon Janet Waggoner was scheduled to be with us. She will be unable to be in Oklahoma at that
time. Connie Cronley has stepped in as
keynote and this promises to be an entertaining event.
Godly Play Commuter Core Training is scheduled for August 3, September 21,
and October 19, 2019, at All Souls' Episcopal Church. There is not charge for
any church in the Diocese of Oklahoma to attend. You will need to be at all
three trainings to be certified.
