Why consider serving in the Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma?

Since 1837, the Episcopal Church in Oklahoma has attracted mission-minded clergy to new and satisfying engagements of the Gospel.  While we come from diverse backgrounds, we are united in proclaiming ourselves to be the Oklahoma branch of the Jesus Movement.  We are mindful of the deep and painful wake of our past, including the Trail of Tears as well as the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in 1995.  Today, the virtues of service, honor, and kindness are celebrated as the "Oklahoma Standard" to which many local business and organizations have pledged themselves.  

We come to this time of Diocesan transition in good health -- spiritually, organizationally and financially.  As you consider the stewardship of your ordination vows, we invite you to discern with us.  Please take a look at the clergy openings that follow:
