Latino ministries is a growing area in our diocese. Latinos will find a warm welcome in The Episcopal Church. For many who were raised in the Roman Catholic tradition, they will discover a familiar, sacramental style of worship, in which we celebrate Holy Communion each Sunday. We welcome all to join in worship and to take part in our many service opportunities, both inside and outside the church. Lay people are encouraged to take important leadership positions in The Episcopal Church.
We have congregations in both the Oklahoma City and the Tulsa areas with strong, vibrant Latino ministry programs and worship services.
Oklahoma City Area:
Santa Maria Virgen is a vibrant, thriving, Spanish-language congregation in southwest Oklahoma City. With a lively congregation and full children's, youth, music, and other ministries, Santa Maria Virgen is a congregation for your family! Fr. Natividad Menjivar is originally from Honduras, and has served at Santa Maria since 2014. He leads this congregation along with a full team of lay leaders from within the congregation.

Alberto Moreno Casas, began his ministry with the congregation in summer 2018 and is working to create a growing, vital Latino congregation for the Tulsa area. Sunday Spanish-language worship includes music, children's ministry, and Bible study. All are welcome!
