The Episcopal Diocese of Oklahoma is excited to announce the nominees for the Sixth Bishop of the Diocese of Oklahoma. Following a year long search and discernment process the Search Committee announces that the nominees are the Rev’d Canon Scott Gunn, the Rev’d Greg Methvin and the Rev’d Poulson C. Reed.

Following a year long search and discernment process the Search Committee announces that the nominees are the Rev’d Canon Scott Gunn, the Rev’d Greg Methvin and the Rev’d Poulson C. Reed.
The Rev’d Canon Scott Gun is currently the executive director of Forward Movement in Cincinnati, OH. The Rev’d Greg Methvin is currently the rector of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Frisco, TX. And the Rev’d Poulson C. Reed is currently the rector of All Saint’s Episcopal Church and Day School in Phoenix, AZ.
The candidates will participate in Walkabouts from Dec 6th-8th to engage with Diocesan clergy and community members. The Election will take place on December 14th at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and the Bishop consecration will follow on April 18th.
