Grace Church in Muskogee is looking for a part-time musician who can play service music and hymns.
Grace Episcopal Church is a small but thriving Episcopal congregation in the heart of downtown Muskogee with an average Sunday attendance of roughly 50 congregants. We are looking for a part time musician who can play service music and hymns from our 1982 Hymnal during Sunday services on our 1960 Austin organ. The musician would ideally accompany members of the choir and the community for special music for the offertory and communion portions of the service, typically on keyboard.
Compensation will be on a per service basis and is negotiable. We are also looking for a choir director who can select music for the service, rehearse the choir and plan the offertory and communion music. Rehearsals for the choir take place on Wednesday evenings. Additional compensation is provided for these duties. The ideal candidate would fill both the role for musician and choir director.
