In an effort to acknowledge the diversity we now enjoy within our community, we are planning an International Festival featuring authentic ethnic cuisine, music, dancing and storytelling of our collective African, African- American, Latino and Caribbean cultures. The event will be held at 2100 Martin Luther King Blvd. on the Church parking lots on the north and south sides of the building on September 21, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Episcopal Church of The Redeemer has been a visible part
of the northeast Oklahoma City community for over 100 years. Over these years, not only has our membership evolved but so have the
neighborhoods which surround us. In an
effort to acknowledge the diversity we now enjoy within our community, we are
planning an International Festival featuring authentic ethnic cuisine, music,
dancing and storytelling of our collective African, African- American, Latino
and Caribbean cultures. The event will be held at 2100 Martin Luther King Blvd.
on the Church parking lots on the north and south sides of the building on
September 21, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Festival, which will incorporate our Annual Fall Yard
Sale, is expected to attract a crowd eager to be entertained by the music and
dancing , taste the food, shop our sales, hear our politicians, and just plain enjoy a beautiful fall day with the
neighbors. The ethnic meal service from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. is offered at
$10.00 per plate and includes a choice of 4 items of your choice from either of
the ethnic menus, a drink and dessert.
We invite you to join us for a fun-filled Saturday.
