We are excited to share the news of the re-establishment of the St. Crispin's Board. At the end of January 2023 the board met for the first time, meetings happen every other month. The Board was formed to provide governance, oversight, and support to the overall ministry of St. Crispin’s. Board members will be engaged in the ministry of St. Crispin’s by providing insight and approval of all policies, regulations, and counsel in legal and financial matters.
Alton Belew, Interim Executive Director of St. Crispin's shared now the formation of the board will impact St. Crispin's, "board involvement in St. Crispin’s will provide a solid foundation for stronger programs, processes and ministry to guests and campers. They really do have the opportunity to shape the future of St. Crispin’s. I’ve already seen the quality of character, the wisdom, and the heart each board member has for God and for St. Crispin’s. I believe their vision is to help St. Crispin’s be all it can be!"
Bishop Poulson shared his excitement, "I am delighted that we have been able to re-establish a board for St. Crispin’s, and am grateful for the outstanding leaders who are giving their time and talent so generously to this important work. St. Crispin’s is at a pivotal time of transition: moving towards greater financial health due to increased marketing and customer relations (thanks to Alton and Joy’s fantastic efforts in their interim roles), and preparing for the calling of a new Executive Director sometime this fall. This new board will bring vision, strategy, and expertise to the challenges and opportunities ahead."
