Fr. Mike Stephenson, the retired Rector of St. Philip's in Ardmore was recently honored for his time at Oak Hall School. For the past seven and a half years, each week he has officiated "Big Chapel" (Kindergarten - Eighth Grade), Early Childhood Chapel (three & four year-olds), and also taught Middle School Christian Education (Sixth - Eighth Grades). With his help, the School and Parish continue to enjoy a wonderfully strong relationship.
On Wednesday, May 22, after the morning Chapel service, the entire school surprised Father Mike with a presentation in the gymnasium of a hand-made quilt that features the handprints of every student and all the faculty and staff of Oak Hall. With Father Mike wrapped in his new quilt, the entire school prayed for God's blessing on him in thanks for his ministry, and to wish him well in retirement.
