Christmas in Watonga

Christmas in Watonga

St. Paul's Cathedral celebrated its annual Christmas in Watonga event! Passing out gifts to children, a visit from St. Nicholas, and fellowship with Whirlwind Mission of the Holy Family members.

The members joined Watonga’s Whirlwind Mission of the Holy Family for Second Sunday Advent and Christmas service on Sunday, December 5, 2021!  Both congregations shared fellowship over a brisket lunch while children received gifts and participated in Christmas art activities.

“Our church members always look forward to each time St. Paul’s fellowship with us, and particularly at Christmas” said Darrel James, a Choctaw tribal member.  “They’ve known all of our kids and teenagers since they were little,” emphasizing the direct connection between the congregations.

Watonga’s Whirlwind Mission of the Holy Family is comprised of various tribal members located in the heart of Cheyenne and Arapaho country and brings the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the community! For more information on Watonga’s Whirlwind Mission of the Holy Family, CLICK HERE
