The 31st annual Vestry Academy will be held on March 16, 2024 in person at St. Crispin’s Conference Center +Camp. The focus will be on the Vestry member’s role as a leader in their congregation. Questions? Please e-mail events@epiok.org or call 405-437-0482. Schedule 

Friday Evening, March 15th, all registered current Senior and Junior Wardens and Clergy are invited to check in from 3–5 pm in the Oakerhater Lodge lobby. The evening gathering with Bishop Poulson will start with evening prayer at 5:00 pm. Dinner will be served at 6 pm. 

Saturday morning, March 16th, all registered vestry members and clergy are encouraged to attend from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm. Registration will open at 8:30 am in Powell Lodge. This year we will have two separate tracks for Vestry members to select from. 

 Tracks

Track #1 Vestry Orientation 101
This track will help participants learn the essentials of how to be an effective Vestry leader, especially in the areas of the canons, finance, best practices, and roles of ministry. The track is especially recommended for new Vestry members.

Track #2 Congregational Vitality: What have we learned about Congregational Vitality?

Join Canon Steve and Kate Bond as they explore more deeply the connections between spirituality, formation, discernment, and contextual awareness for congregational vitality. We will explore the data from Congregational Vitality Survey and how it helps us understand ask question about where God is calling us as congregations in the Diocese of Oklahoma.

Stewardship Webinars 

Webinars are provided by TENS, The Episcopal Network for Stewardship. The Diocese subscribes annually to TENS and congregations are able to use this subscription to access resources and annual pledge campaign materials.This year they have made these webinars available to be offered in our diocese to our congregations.
